Okay, let's just get this out of the way. The Breakfast sandwich is the bomb! Those fried green tomatoes set it over the top and this place is wonderfully staffed with smiles and happiness. You will enjoy everything about Anita's. Great food, wonderful staff and really cool atmosphere. 5 stars for everything!

Great place for breakfast and lunch. If you like a lox bagel, check out their salmon handheld on a real NY bagel. Salmon Benedict was also good. Service was excellent and their bathrooms are super clean. Old school kind of family restaurant. Loved it.

The chicken and waffles were literally the best I have ever tried. The breading was so flakey and the chicken was juicy! I would love to see this on the permanent menu as it was a special. Our server was super sweet and very attentive as well!

After going to Nokomis Beach, we went to Anita's Restaurant to eat breakfast. We ordered veggie omelet with sides of grits and toasts, country fried steak and eggs with sides of pancakes and home fries, two eggs and toasts, and stuffed french toasts then we also have iced coffee and chocolate milk. They are all good!!! We finished our plates!

50s and 60s music. Route 66 vibe. Old muscle cars pics. GREAT FOOD. We had a big party so the service was slower than normal.

We arrived at Anita's one half hour before closing. Normally we'd never go to any restaurant that close to closing. But we wanted to share one of our favorite places to eat with a guest. I did ask if they minded us ordering and they kindly said yes. Our waitress was attentive so we got drinks and food ordered quickly. Food was a little slower which we didn't mind-our concern was having time to eat it and get going so they could finish their day. Food ordered was the sliders, a hamburger, and reuben, all with the most amazing beer battered fries. Everything was very tasty-highly recommend those fries! We appreciate their kind care and look forward to the remodel coming. Please don't change the food!

Fantastic little local Diner. First time there today late morning. No wait. Had the Kickin Fish wrap with coleslaw, it was awesome! If you order it with fries, the portion of fries is half the plate. Chicken Caesar wrap also looked good. The mega breakfast looked awesome too, my friend polished the plate. Service was attentive. Place is not pet friendly.
